Which areas are not accessible?

We strive to make this website as accessible as possible. However, updates to underlying software may mean that some content is not accessible. This applies to the WordPress base system as well as themes and plug-ins, as these components are programmed externally.
In rare cases, we are not yet able to achieve complete accessibility with existing technologies, or we are unable to display such content in an accessible manner for technical or copyright reasons due to the fact that such content is provided to us by third parties. However, we always strive to use at least low-barrier technology.

Areas that are not or not yet accessible:

  • Foreign words and abbreviations are not marked.

When was the accessibility statement created?

This statement was made in August 2025.

To change the display size, hold down the “Ctrl” key and move the scroll wheel on the mouse, or hold down the “Ctrl” key and use the ‘plus’ key to zoom in or the “minus” key to zoom out. Alternatively, you can change the font size via your browser settings. For further information, please refer to your browser’s help section.

To enable anti-aliasing for fonts in Windows, for example, go to Control Panel > Display > Appearance > Effects > Use ClearType text smoothing for display fonts.

To use your own style (colors, fonts), you can import it. For example, in Internet Explorer, select Tools > Internet Options > Accessibility. Then click the desired checkboxes to ignore colors, font styles, or font sizes. In the same window, you can check the box next to Format document using my style sheet. Then select your preferred style sheet and confirm your entry by clicking OK. You will then be presented with a selection of colors and fonts.

Forms

The online forms have been designed to be technically accessible. This is to ensure that the ability to submit inquiries, search for content, and perform interactions is not restricted.

Images

We have added descriptive alternative texts to all informative images (and images of text) and marked all purely decorative images (such as background images) with a zero alternative text marker to indicate that no alternative texts are available.

Videos

We usually embed videos via YouTube. Accessibility cannot be guaranteed here. We strive to make this content accessible by labeling it accordingly. You can show or hide existing subtitles using the corresponding button on the YouTube player.

Slider

Various image content is displayed in the slider. These rotate and are changed with a swipe effect. If these movements are distracting, they can be turned off using the accessibility tool. The slider can be operated using the keyboard.
